Satchmo: Louis Armstrong
An in-depth look at the life and music of Louis Armstrong, "Satchmo" takes us on a musical journey following a musician like no other and a man who would forever change the face of jazz music. To the point that you can't think of the musical style without having his name come to mind, Louis Armstrong with his easily recognizable voice and trumpet playing brought forth nothing but musical magic that would last forever.
A wonderful DVD for any great lover of jazz music, the only disappointment would have to be the fact that the disc did not include full versions of his many great musical favorites.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
