Short 6: Insanity
Delve into the world of independent short film with Short, a collection of short films, animated features and documentaries.
Volume 6 entitled Insane transports you into a collage of alternative film making, most of which insane fits quite nicely with the mental condition of the film makers.
A good sidestep off the beaten path of mainstream film-making, Short gives us a glimpse into the world few get an opportunity to experience. For many this will be an enlightening artistic experience, for others... well not so enlightening.
Keeping an open mind to independent film, I found other than a few well-done exceptions, the very well done animated menus, entertaining Timex commercials and a terrific Warner DVD promo (title 13 on the disc) to be about the most entertaining features of the DVD.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen or full frame versions of the films. The mastering is decent but the video interlaced and the extras few.
