Shakespeare in Love

With two theatre owners impatiently awaiting William Shakespear's (Joseph Fiennes) latest play, William himself is facing an even worse predicament, as starved of love, he has been left with a heart and imagination as dry as the parchest desert. However, when his eye falls upon the beautiful Lady Viola (Gwyneth Paltrow), his fire is rekindled and his pursuits of her become the driving force for his newest play "Romeo and Ethel the Pirates Daughter," better know retitled, reworked and rewritten as "Romeo and Juliet."

A rich mix of wonderful acting, writing, comedy and adventure, Shakespear steps out from behind the backstage curtain to become the star of this highly entertaining romp through London theatre in the late 1500s. Truly a marvelous piece of not-to-be-missed film-making, the only downfall of the movie is the nudity and adult situations that keep it out of the hands of a broader audience.

Parental Note:Adult Siutuations, Nudity
