SpaceballsTHE REVIEW
Just when you thought meteors were the worst thing to worry about reaching the Earth from outer
space, they quickly become the least of your worries once you learn about
"Spaceballs."
A planet of idiots, Spaceballs as they are not-so-lovingly known, put the spaced-out in outer
space, and on their last unsuccessful venture, they have managed to exhaust all the air on
their miserable planet. Now in hopes of stealing the air from the nearby planet of Druidia,
they make plans (actually they wing it) to capture the planet's Princess Vespa (Daphne Zuniga)
and hold her for ransom. However, one thing they never planned for was facing Lone Star
(Bill Pullman) and his faithful sidekick Barf (John Candy).
A wonderful spoof of sci-fi's greatest cosmic adventures, director/ producer/ writer and actor
Mel Brooks gives us a first rate out-of-this-world comedy adventure filled with wonderful
laughs and great actors including Bill Pullman, John Candy, Daphne Zuniga, Rick Moranis,
Dick Van Patten, George Wyner as well as the voice talents of Joan Rivers and Dom De Luise.
A guaranteed good time, this is one movie no sci-fi fan will want to miss adding to their
collection.
