Speed 2: Cruise Control
Sandra Bullock and Jason Patric star in the high-energy action- packed sequel to Speed in Speed 2: Cruise Control.
Annie's (Bullock) last relationship with Jack proved to her two things, first relationships based on extreme circumstances never work, and second relationships with cops never work with her always worrying.
When she discovers her newest love Alex (Patric) is one of NYPD's finest and craziest, she is without words to express her displeasure. When Alex offers a relaxing cruise as a perfect time to smooth things over and get to know one another better, things begin to look up.
Unfortunately there's trouble in paradise, and that missing dose of extreme circumstances to make this relationship a total failure in Annie's eyes vividly presents itself. All smooth sailing the cruise quickly changes course as an ex-computer technician for the cruise line, feeling wronged for his recent dismissal takes control, turning a dreamy cruise into a nightmare for all aboard.
Compared to the original, the sequel falls a bit short, but on its own it's anything but grounded, being a high-seas adrenaline rush sure to please.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but the extras few.
