Spy Kids
A fun for the whole family adventure, "Spy Kids" delivers not only a stellar cast, but a quirky mix of comedy and action. Add to the mix some impressive writing, effects and acting by the likes of Antonio Banderas, Carla Gugino, Teri Hatcher, Alan Cumming, Cheech Marin, Robert Patrick, Tony Shalhoub, not to forget the two young stars Daryl Sabara and Alexa Vega, and you've got a family flic sure to please.
Living an apparently normal childhood, Carmen (Vega) and Juni (Sabara) discover after their parent fail to return from a so called business trip, that they are in fact the offspring of international spies. Learning of their parent's capture by the infamous Fegan Floop (Cumming), they raid their long lost uncle's stash of gadgets galore and ready themselves for a far-out and far-flung unforgettable adventure.
Parental Note: Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are very few extras.
