Bringing on board the single crew member Harry Mudd and his three lovely female passengers moments before the destruction of their ship has Captain Kirk and his crew with their hands and hearts quite full. Finding themselves caught under the spell of these women of extraordinary beauty, Mudd facing charges of breaking space travel regulations, pits this seductive beauty against the captain and crew.
Once again facing and beating the odds, the Enterprise and crew take us on another great adventure from the creative genius Gene Roddenberry.
The Enemy Within - Episode 5 - Oct. 6, 1966
When a transporter malfunction creates a duplicate of Captain Kirk, it looks like he's twice the man he once was, but with all the good in one body and the bad in the other, he's but half the man he once was. Now with an away team left stranded on the freezing planet below, it is a race against time to get things together on the ship and fix the transporter.
An exciting edge-of-your-seat episode, we get to see the dark side of the captain, and not quite as surprising his bare chest as he again manages to get that shirt off.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
