Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 4

Traveling warp speed into adventure across the vastness of space, Captain Kirk (William Shatner) and his courageous crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise take us on one journey we are sure not to forget.

On DVD, volume 4 of the Star Trek: Original Series treats us to a new brilliance in sound and picture quality like never before, breathing exciting new life into the classic television series.

Charlie X - Taking aboard a young castaway presumed lost on a deserted planet, the crew comes face to face with a boy struggling through the problems of adolescence. For the crew however, they soon begin to share his pain and confusion as it is discovered he has gained incredible powers capable of mass destruction. Now hopelessly in the hands of this young man, the crew can only hope not to literally outlive their usefulness.

Balance of Terror - The first episode for the crew of the Enterprise to face the Federation's age old enemies, The Romulans, Captain Kirk must decide whether or not to defend Federation outposts at the risk of starting a galactic war. With several outposts already destroyed and the crew struggling to track the cloaked enemy ship, time to act, quickly slips away.
