What are Little Girls Made of? - Episode 10 - Oct. 20, 1966
After five years of no contact, the USS Enterprise arrives at a desolate frozen planet in search of a Dr. Kirby once stationed there. Found apparently still alive and living underground, Captain Kirk beams down to the planet to find more than just Kirby, but his twisted dream of bringing humans closer to perfection by replacing them with androids.
Another example of great classic sci-fi, Captain Kirk not only once again to get his shirt off, but steals a few on screen kisses from a beautiful young woman.
Dagger of the mind - Episode 11 - Nov. 3, 1966
Beaming down supplies to a remote penal colony, those onboard the USS Enterprise in return receive a stowaway who is discovered to be one of the staff fleeing for his life. Investigating the situation, Captain Kirk beams down to the planet (the same planet backdrop used in Episode 2 - Where no Man Has Gone Before) while Spock back on the ship uses the Vulcan Mind Meld for the first time to discover from their frantic guest the danger that lies on the planet below.
With more terrific sci-fi blasting its way across your TV, Kirk manages to keep his shirt on, although he is well compensated with a couple on screen lip-lock encounters from his beautiful medical assistant.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
