Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 24
Providing adventure in any uncharted corner of the universe, Captain Kirk and the crew of the
U.S.S. Enterprise deliver hours of classic sci-fi excitement for anyone ready to travel across
the stars as warp speed.
Obsession - Episode 47 - During a routine mineral survey on a distant planet, Kirk and a
small landing party come in contact with a gaseous creature which feeds on the blood of man.
Appearing to be the same creature that attacked and killed half the crew Kirk served with 11
years ago, he finds himself obsessed with bringing to destruction this deadly creature while
wrestling with the inner guilt of days long past.
The Immunity Syndrome - Episode 48 - Returning from an away mission and preparing for
some R&R after stopping at Starbase 6, captain and crew of the Enterprise are called away on
an emergency mission after the Vulcan ship Intrepid and the Gamma 7A solar system vanish into
a dark hole in space. Doing what Kirk does best with any strange anomaly in space, he flies
his ship directly into it, risking all to once again save the universe.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
