Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 25
The vastness of space holds many surprises for man, and that is one thing that comes as no surprise when you step aboard the U.S.S. Enterprise and blast across the cosmos with Captain Kirk and crew. Another thing that comes as no surprise is your guarantee for topnotch entertaining sci-fi adventure with yet another wonderful volume of "Star Trek: The Original Series" on DVD.
A Piece of the Action - Episode 49 - Years before the prime directive of not interfering with the progress of other planetary races, the U.S.S. Horizon visited planet Iotia. Now a hundred years since, the U.S.S. Enterprise stops by in this somewhat lighthearted episode to find the planet entirely influenced and based upon a book left behind on Earth's Chicago mobs of the 1920s.
By any Other Name - Episode 50 - Approaching a remote planet in response to a distress call, Captain Kirk and crew find themselves and ship captives to a race known as Kelvans from the Andromeda Galaxy. Now preparing to take over our own galaxy, Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy and Scotty are left as the only hope for not only the enterprise, but the entire galaxy against these aliens who have taken human form. To no surprise, Kirk once again finds himself boldly going where no man has gone before... but he has many a time... as he steals a kiss from a beautiful creature from another world.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
