Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 26

No matter how many times you find yourself on the bridge of the U.S.S. Enterprise, you can be sure to find yourself amidst wonderful writing, amazing adventure and one remarkable journey after another to the farthest reaches of the universe. For fans of the show, you will not want to miss experiencing the rich quality DVD adds to the fabulous sci-fi series.

Return to Tomorrow - Episode 51 - Approaching a remote dead planet, the Enterprise receives a message for help from far below its surface. Beaming to a cavern near its core, the captain encounters an alien race which has transferred their life force into illuminated spheres. Wishing to once again have bodies, this apparently peaceful and highly advanced race takes over the minds of Kirk, Spock, and other crew member in the hopes building themselves robotic bodies. However, all the wonders of actual flesh pose as a wonderful temptation. Amazingly even with his mind being controlled, Kirk still manages to steal a kiss from a beautiful woman.

Patterns of Force - Episode 52 - Arriving at planet Ekos in search of a missing Federation historian, Kirk and Spock beam down to the planet to find it fashioned much like Nazi Germany of Earth's mis 1900s. Puzzled by the reason for this, the two frantically begin their search for the missing man while avoiding the current genocide of all outsiders.
