Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 29
Once again, warp speed across the cosmos, we join Captain Kirk and his fearless crew as they journey into the unknown. A show fans have loved for generations, this is some of classic television's greatest moments in science fiction. On DVD, this greatness is only enhanced as you boldly go where no man has gone before, like never before.
Elaan of Troyius - Episode 57 - In the hopes of establishing peace between two warring planets, the leaders of both agree to a marriage alliance. However, the bride from Elas is anything but pleasant, being from a ruthless society, something that must quickly be rectified before they reach Troyius. And as if things weren't difficult enough, Klingons crash the party, adding their own dose of mayhem to the situation.
The Paradise Syndrome - Episode 58 - Aware of an asteroid soon to destroy a near replica of Earth, Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam down to the planet briefly before setting off in an attempt to prevent the collision. However, when Kirk goes missing, Spock and McCoy are left with no choice but to return to the ship and continue as planned. Meanwhile back on the planet, Kirk with extreme memory loss is accepted as a god by the local natives, but this does not deter him from his usual tricks of getting shirtless and the kiss of a beautiful woman.

The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
