Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 32
Across the universe at the speed of light, captain James Kirk, Spock, Dr. McCoy, and the rest
of the Enterprise crew plot a course to unforgettable adventure episode after episode.
Volume 32 of "Star Trek: The Original Series" is no exception, delivering two exquisite
episodes.
The Empath - Episode 63 - Arriving in the Minarion star system in the hopes of locating a
missing research team before the local sun goes nova, Kirk, Spock and McCoy beam down to the
third planet. Here they find themselves trapped in an underground facility, where together
with an empath mute capable of absorbing the pain and injuries of others, they become part of
an elusive torturous experiment by an alien race. Of interest, this episode was actually
written by a fan of the series.
The Tholian Web - Episode 64 - Responding to a distress call from the Defiant, the
Enterprise arrives to find the crew dead and the ship phasing in and out between a parallel
universe. Attempting to beam back to the Enterprise, Kirk becomes trapped onboard, and to top
things off Spock now in charge finds himself under attack by the local Tholians and not wanting
to leave Kirk finds himself about to be trapped within a Tholian Web.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
