Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 34
The stillness of space has always been thought of as quite tranquil, but with Captain Kirk as
your guide, you step onboard the U.S.S. Enterprise for one action filled thrill ride.
Wonderfully written and starring a cast full of now household names, every episode is an
adventure you will not want to miss.
Plato's Stepchildren - Episode 67 - Answering a distress call from the planet Platonius,
Captain Kirk, Spock and Dr. McCoy soon find themselves trapped on the planet. Helplessly at
the beck and call of a race capable of moving and controlling objects with their mind, even the
Enterprise in orbit around their planet is not beyond their grasp and within the realm of grave
danger.
Wink of an Eye - Episode 68 - Following a distress call to the planet Scalos, Kirk and
crew arrive to find a once populated planet now oddly barren. With the sudden disappearance
of an away team member before their very eyes and equally bizarre occurrences onboard the
Enterprise upon their return, it is of little surprise that something is afoot and the crew in
jeopardy when the captain himself goes missing.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
