Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 36
With each exciting episode taking us on an unforgettable adventure from one corner of the universe to another, volume 36 of "Star Trek: The Original Series" is no exception, delivering two marvelous shows.
Whom Gods Destroy - Episode 71 - Transporting the latest in medical supplies to the planet Elba II, home of the Federation treatment centre for the criminally insane, Kirk and Spock beam down to find themselves in dire circumstances. Now home to Garth, a once revered military captain of the Federation, with the recently achieved talent of transforming himself into any human form he manages to take over the facility and in doing so traps Kirk and Spock, making them both pawns in his plans to rule the universe.
The Mark of Gideon - Episode 72 - The first ship of the Federation allowed to approach the planet Gideon, Kirk and crew onboard the Enterprise prepare to meet those of the planet. Not knowing what to expect, Kirk beams down to the planet, but oddly it appears that he hasn't even left the ship. Even more odd he appears to be the only one on the ship, that is except for one beautiful and just as confused female stranger.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
