Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 37
Wonderfully restored to an all new brilliance on DVD, "Star Trek: the Original Series"
volume 37 delivers two superb episodes of the classic television series that no fan will want
to miss.
The Lights of Zetar - Episode 73 - En route to Memory Alpha, home of the Federation's
central library, the Enterprise transporting guest Lt. Mira Romaine to the planet encounters a
powerful energy storm. Wiping out all life on the planet, the storm sets course for the
Enterprise, threatening all life onboard; however, a special interest in Mira may be the key
to the crews' survival.
The Cloud Miners - Episode 74 - With the planet Merak II facing the threat of having all
life on its surface wiped out by a deadly plague, the crew of the Enterprise head for Ardana
for the only known cure. Arriving at the mines to pick up their supply of Zenite, an attempt
is made to take the landing party of Spock and Kirk hostage. Making known their need for
haste, Kirk non-the-less finds himself in the middle of a class war with the miners struggling
for equality and basic civil rights.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
