Star Trek: Original Series: Vol 38
Making their way across the universe, Captain Kirk and the crew of the U.S.S. Enterprise never
fail to find adventure and deliver one marvelous episode after another, volume 38 of
"Star Trek: The Original Series" being no exception.
The Way to Eden - Episode 75 - Encountering the stolen ship Aurora in space, those of the
enterprise capturing it, beam aboard its crew of six moments before it self destructs. Now
with six hippie-like guests insistent that Kirk helps them find Eden, a planet of perfection
rumored to exist somewhere in the universe, the captain with orders to return them to starbase
is met with much resistence.
Requiem for Methuselah - Episode 76 - With Rigellian fever running rampant through the
crew of the Enterprise, Captain Kirk in an effort to save lives, sets course for the closest
planet containing deposits of ryetalyn. Beaming to the planet's surface, supposedly free of
any life forms, Kirk, Spock and Dr. McCoy are surprised to find a human named Flint and his
lovely companion Rayna living comfortably, but unaccustomed to guests and with a few deep
secrets of their own, the landing party soon discover they may be staying a bit longer than
they initially intended to.
Parental Note:Minor Violence
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is excellent, as are the few extras.
