Star Trek: The Motion Picture: Director's Edition

From the world of television to the limitless universe of movie-making, "Star Trek: The Motion Picture" takes the unforgettable classic creation of Gene Roddenberry and transfers it to the silver screen in a bigger than life adventure among the stars.

About a decade after the conclusion of the original Star Trek television series, most of the fearless crew boldly returns once again to venture into the depths of space.

With an unknown anomaly of great power and destructive force discovered to be on a collision course with Earth, Captain James Kirk (William Shatner) once again finds himself in command of the latest Enterprise. On a mission to intercept the approaching force and discover its intent, Kirk flirting with disaster flies the Enterprise into its very core, only to discover a massive alien ship with just as spectacular an agenda.

A first rate sci-fi adventure, you couldn't ask for more an established cast than that of Shatner along with Leonard Nimoy (Spock), Deforest Kelly (Dr. McCoy), James Doohan (Scotty), George Takei (Sulu), Walter Koenig (Chekov), and Nichelle Nichols (Uhura) among several others who take us across the cosmos and boldly where no man has gone before.

Parental Note: Minor Language, Violence
