Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan

One of the best loved sci-fi series of all time, Star Trek never fails to entertain as it takes us boldly where no man has gone before. "Star Trek 2: The Wrath of Khan" though bends the rules slightly as true fans of the television series will know, facing Khan is somewhere we have been before.

Now 15 years since Khan was left on a desolate planet by Captain Kirk, members of the Federation's Genesis project stumble upon him and him followers, giving them the opportune chance for revenge. Taking control of a federation starship, Khan learns of the Genesis project and its powerful destructive force in the wrong hands. His being the prime set of wrong hands, he rendevous with Kirk and a ship full of trainees to give them one red alert exercise they won't soon forget.

A marvelous film, it does show its age in some of the effects, but does not fail to deliver topnotch out-of-this-world adventure. Featuring all the crew favourites Kirk (William Shatner), Spock (Leonard Nimoy), Bones (DeForest Kelly), Scotty (James Doohan), Chekov (Walter Koenig), Sulu (George Takei) and Uhura (Nichelle Nichols), it also features Kirstie Alley in her first feature film.

Parental Note: Minor Language, Minor Violence
