Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles
Those heroes in the half shell make their way onto the big screen in this entertaining romp
through the streets and sewers of New York. After befriending a news reporter April O'Neil,
together they try and get to the bottom of a growing rash of crime sweeping the city. Along
the way they also befriend Casey Jones, a vigilante with a bizarre love for contact sports, and
together they combine their ninja and fighting skills against the evil shredder and his band of
foot soldiers.
The disc is double sided - single layered and contains both the widescreen and full frame pan &
scan versions of the movie. The mastering is well done, but flaws in the original film show as
many scenes are quite grainy. The extras are well put together, although a behind the scenes
look at it's making would have been a great addition, it being one of Jim Henson's last works.
Also included are bios., trailer, as well as a sewer maze game which rates about a 1 out of 5
on the replay value.
