Tron
"Tron" never looked as good as it does on DVD. The first movie to use extensive computer graphics, this 1982 computerized classic starring Jeff Bridges takes us inside the computer, to a world fighting the tyrannical rule of master control. A computer whiz Flynn (Bridges), in an attempt to save one of his programs from the clutches of the mainframe, finds himself digitally transported to a strange new world inside the computer. From here, only the help of a courageous security program named TRON can help Flynn escape and return peace to this electronic world. This is one of those movies that stand out as being well ahead of its time, and a great addition to any movie collection.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains only the widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is terrific, but the extras consist of only a single trailer.
