The Twilight Zone: Vol.3
Unlock the door with the key of your imagination and cross over into The Twilight Zone. Volume
three contains yet another foursome of classic episodes that made their mark on the television
world, forever showing why it is still loved many years later.
Kick the Can: Feb. 9/1962 - Episode 86 - The magic of youth is alive and well in the heart and
mind of an old man wasting away in a rest home. Discovering the fountain of youth to be
nothing more than a state of mind, he and a group of residents return once again to their
youth.
Steel: Oct. 4/1963 - Episode 122 - In the not so far future, boxing is a sport much
different from in the past. Now, man has been banned from the brutal sport and replaced with
robots. However, with money on the line and a broken robot, Steel, an ex- boxer, must return
to the ring disguised as a robot and full of optimism to face a foe like never before.
A Game of Pool: Oct. 13/1961 - Episode 70 - Spending a lifetime to become the best, a
small town pool shark dreams of playing the long-dead pool champ. When his wish is granted
however, he learns there is much more involved with being the best than he could ever
imagine.
Walking Distance: Oct. 30/1959 - Episode 5 - A man returns to his hometown after
twenty-five years to discover little has changed, in fact, nothing has. Running into his
family of long ago, he comes to discern, as much as he wants to stay, that this is not the
time or the place for him.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is terrific, but with few extras.
