The Twilight Zone: Vol.4
A land where boundaries are only that of your imagination, The Twilight Zone, Volume Four
delivers up some of Rod Serling's terrific writing that made him one of television's greatest
writers. Although not all the stories on this DVD contain as much a twist as others in the
series, they are all fantastic pieces of writing that stand well on their own, and still indeed
take us to that wonderful place known as The Twilight Zone.
A Passage for Trumpet: May 20/1960 - Episode 32 - Jack Klugman stars as Joey, a man who
loves to make music. Alone with his trumpet, his music was like magic, but with little else in
life, his was falling apart. Only upon his death does he really wake up and see what he was
missing, and given a second chance, he grabs hold of life and all its beauty.
Mr. Dingle, the Strong: 1960 - Episode 55 - A human punching bag, Mr. Dingle a quiet and
mild-mannered man is the perfect specimen for alien experiment. Given the strength of 300 men,
he finds the world now looks at him through much different eyes. This however would not be the
last of experiments to set him apart from those around him. Don Rinkles makes a special
appearance in this episode.
Two: 1961 - Episode 66 - In a world left quiet and desolate in the aftermath of war, two
lonely people find each other. Once enemies at war, they must now recognize the war is over
and put the past behind them or go on in life alone.
The Four of us are Dying: Jan. 1/1960 - Episode 13 - A man with the ability to change his
face into anyone's he chooses, makes the most of those he portrays. However, he is about to
learn the hard way he must take the good with the bad.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is terrific, but with few extras.
