The Twilight Zone: Vol.7
Volume 7 in The Twilight Zone DVD series delivers yet another four intriguing episodes into the
unknown as incredible writing proves not only entertaining, but highly captivating.
Perchance a Dream: Nov. 27/1959 - Episode 9 - A man with a bad heart condition is
threatened by a woman in his dreams trying to kill him. Now left with a dreadful fear of
falling asleep, he turns to any help he can. The first show of the series not written by
Rod Serling, it follows the feel of the series, but falls slightly short in the creative
writing aspect.
The Hitch-Hiker: Jan. 22/1960 - Episode 16 - A young woman driving from New York to
California, after having a brush with death, begins to see the same hitch-hiker on the side of
the road over and over again.
King 9 Will Not Return: Sept. 30/1960 - Episode 37 - Alone in the desert, a World War II
pilot finds his crew has disappeared after crashing his bomber. With modern jet planes flying
in the skies above it can only mean one thing, he has entered The Twilight Zone.
Shadow Play: May 5/1961 - Episode 62 - Found guilty of murder, the convicted pleads that
he is not killed or the world as part of his dream will disappear. Now trying to convince
anyone who will listen to do all they can to help, the hour of his execution draws ever
closer.
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original full frame version of the
program. The mastering is terrific, but with few extras.
