Virus

A strange electrical anomaly traveling through space like a bolt of lightning collides with the MIR space station in a blinding flash. On earth, those on board a massive Russian research vessel witness the event and moments later relive it as a bolt of lightning directed from space hits the ship, overtaking it with the "Virus."

This cutting-edge and visually fantastic thriller takes us into the eye of a hurricane, as a small tug with its cargo lost and taking on water, comes across the Russian ship dead in the water. Boarding the ship, the small crew turn the power on only to face a mechanical nightmare that could cost them their very lives.

An intense movie that will keep you on the edge of your seat, Virus delivers adrenaline pumping action and adventure that will have you holding on tight for the ride.

Jamie Lee Curtis, William Baldwin and Donald Sutherland deliver great performances only to be matched by the wonderful visual effects. This film may look like a B movie, but get ready for much more.

** *

The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is terrific, as are the extras. The only disapointment in the disc, is the layer change which comes right in the middle a speech instead of the usual break in action, thus causing an awkward slight pause in the movie.
