Volcano
The city of Los Angeles is in for a summer just a little bit hotter than they ever expected.
With yet another quake leaving the city shaken up, Mike Roark (Tommy Lee Jones) is on the
scene as head of the Los Angles' OEM (Office of Emergency Management).
After a number of underground disturbances leave the public works department puzzled and
scrambling with several of their workers dead, Dr. Amy Barnes (Anne Heche) is brought in as a
local geologist to assess the situation. However, what she discovers has the city about to
face one of nature's deadliest forces, and together with Roark, they pool their resources and
know-how to get things under control.
A fabulous film jam-packed with great acting, action, adventure and plenty of molten lava, this
is one hot movie sure to please.
Parental Note: Frightening Scenes
The disc is single sided - dual layered and contains the original widescreen version of the
movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
