Walkabout: Director's Cut

A father at the end of his rope takes his teenage daughter and younger son deep into the Australian desert with the intention of killing them along with himself. To the children's good fortune, they manage to escape, only to be left lost and alone.

Now in the middle on nowhere, survival becomes their chief concern and when all hope seems as lost as they are, a young aboriginal man appears out of nowhere, helping them to not only survive, but return to civilization. However, although driven by their desire to get home, once back their desire is reversed as they can only think of the inner peace they had in the wilderness.

Parental Note: Nudity

**

The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
