Wall Street
With the desire to hit the big leagues, a small time trader on "Wall Street" Bud Fox
(Charlie Sheen) will stop at nothing to reach the top. Setting his sights on the man with all
the money and all the moves, Gordon Gekko (Michael Douglas), he finds himself bending the rules
all in the name of making a fast buck.
Seeing this new found power and wealth as an opportunity to breath some new life into the small
airline employing his father (Martin Sheen), Bud sets in motion a deal soon to unveil to him
the good, bad and ugly faces of greed.
A great story filled with wonderful writing and terrific actors, including in addition to the
stars, Terence Stamp, Daryl Hannah and Hal Holbrook among many familiar faces, the only
downfall of the film is the film itself, as set in the world of numbers, it falls far from the
most exciting set for a film, and going for a feel of realism, it tends to feel more like work
than a good time at the movies. However, director Oliver Stone takes us into the war zone of
the concrete jungle and pulls off one captivating movie.
Parental Note: Language, Sexual Content, Nudity
