What about Bob?
A masterpiece of comedic writing and acting, we take to the street with the phobia stricken Bob
(Bill Murray), a man who is pretty much afraid of everything everyday life has to offer.
Having gone through many previous psychiatrists, Dr. Leo Marvin (Richard Dreyfuss) becomes the
latest man of the mental medical practice to have Bob referred to. However, planning to leave
that very day for a month vacation, Bob is insistent that he needs help and he needs it now.
For Bob, insistency pays off as he manages to trick those watching the office into giving him
Dr. Marvin's vacation location. Now meeting up with the Marvins at their summer home, Bob
begins his vacation therapy with the family, much against the wishes of the doctor.
Unfortunately for him though, the rest of the family warms up to their guest, soon making it
the doctor who is in need of some serious therapy.
Truly a marvelous comedy and a terrific addition to any DVD collection, if laughter is the best
medicine, you are sure to be feeling in great shape by the end of this movie.
Parental Note: Minor Language
The disc is single sided - single layered and contains the original widescreen version
of the movie. The mastering is excellent, but there are few extras.
