Hoy,
Some new games have finally start to come out that are actually cool. Just in time for the holidays of course. Oh well, on to the reviews.
Ratchet: Deadlocked (PS2)
This has got to be one of the coolest and most addictive games I have played in a long time. I didn't think the game was gonna be this good when I bought it, but I'm glad I did. ^_^
This game picks up right where the 3rd one (Up Your Arsenal) left off. After taking it easy for some time after their last adventure, the two are called back into action when Ratchet is taken away and forced to play in deathmatch battles for a TV show run by a madman.
I love the fact how this game can be put in Widescreen and Progressive Scan mode. All PS2 games should start having this feature seriously. I'm sure the game already looks and moves sweet on regular TV's. But playing it on a digital TV makes you feel like you're right in the middle of everything.
The game is awesome like the previous ones. Maybe even more so. The only gripe I have, are that the levels are too short. Or should I say, have too many checkpoints.
Anyways, please go out and check out this game. You'll love it if you're an action fan or not. :D
Resident Evil 4 (Gamecube & PS2)
Well, I have both versions. And both are good in their own way. The gamecube has the better graphics, sound, and load times. But the PS2 has all the bonus stuff. Like the all new Ada adventure "Seperate Ways", which I almost like better than the actual main game with Leon.
If you can get both versions of this game, please do. Both are awesome in their special ways.
Fire Emblem: Path Of Radiance (Gamecube)
Besides RE4, this has got to be the best game on the Gamecube right now. At first, I didn't like it as much. But the more I played it, the further I got in the game, I grew to like it.
And once you get to that level, the game is like video crack....you can't put it down. You'll be like "Ok, just one more chapter...then I'll turn it off". Next thing you know, 3 hours and some chapters have flown by. If you have a Gamecube, you should already have this game. Even if you don't like strategy RPG's, this will convert you.
