Larry Kenney was born on August 5th, 1947 in Pekin, Illinois.
He began his Career at 15 in 1963 as a D.J. for a
Radio Station in Peoraia, Illinois.
From there, he went to work for other Radio Stations
in New York, Cleveland, and Chicago.
He later became a Cast member on the Radio Show "Imus
in the Morning" in 1973. The Radio show made fun of
Celebraties & Polictical Figures of the time.
Such as Richard Nixon, Elvis, and Ross Perot.
Larry finally made his way to TV with the New York Show "Bowling for Dollars" & stayed there from 1978 to '79.
He then went on to voice the famed Lion-O,
Jackleman, & other Various roles on "ThunderCats" &
voiced BlueGrass on "Silverhawks"...Both which were
made by Rankin/Bass Entertainment.
I'm sure this is where he also did the Wind Demon
leader voice for "The Life & Adventures of Santa
Claus".
Extra Facts:
Larry is married to his wife Carol Kenney (whom he
refers to as Mrs.Kenney Du Jour) & has three Kids,
Two Daughters & a Son.
His oldest daughter Kerri (27 years-old) ....is one
of The Stars of Comedy Central's "Viva Variety" also
known as the same Cast from MTV's "The State".
She's also the lead vocal for the Band "Cake Like"
Daughter : Ashley, 13 years-old, Artist, Horseback Rider, Teenage Rebel.
Son: Tanner, 9 years-old, Drummer, Soccer player,
Heir to become man of the House.
On Sunday, May 10th...Larry Kenney replied to an E-mail I had sent him. I was so shocked when he replied. I couldn't believe it!
