Anime Reviews

Hopefully I can update more often. More reviews to come!

Devil Lady

I'll be honest, when I first heard about this series, I thought it was gonna suck like the Devilman movie did. But I'm glad this series proved me wrong.

I was able to get the complete collection for dirt cheap and was glad I did. Once you watch it, it becomes one of those series you must see through to the end. It's just something about it that keeps you watching.

As for the story, it's about a young lady named Jun. She's into modeling and just being a young woman trying to make a living. One day, this strange woman asks her to follow her to an abandoned warehouse, where a monster resides. After the monster tries to attack Jun, she changes into a half human, half demon called the Devilady. The strange lady reveals herself as a monster hunter and asks for Jun's help to defeat them.

Of course there's alot of meeting new friends and enemies, backstabbing, and monster fighting along the way. I highly recommend this series. It's like watching the X-files mixed with the old incredible hulk series. :)

Dai-Guard

This is one of the best comedy/action anime series I've seen in a long time. It's like watching a comedic version of Neon Genesis Evangelion.

There are these giant monsters popping up all over japan, and it's up to an old war robot and three rookie pilots to stop them. The series also goes into detail about how much damage is done to the city during those monster battles, and who's going to pay for it. Which is something people who have watched movies and anime have been asking for decades. LOL!

That's just part of what makes the series really funny. You just have to watch the series for yourself to see all the rest. It has it's very serious moments as well. As well as one of the catchiest anime theme songs ever. It's just a great series. Check it out.

Heat Guy J

This was also yet another great series I watched lately. I've always wanted to see this series ever since it came out. And I had the first two DVD's when it first came out. But they were too expensive, and the first few eps were kind of confusing. So I have up on it.

But after being able to get the first three DVD's of it for only $20, and the other four for $40, I was able to finally watch the series as a whole. And it's awesome. It's about a cop in the future named Daisuke, who is given an android partner named J. The two of them solve crimes ranging from serial killers that have been changed into were animals, to lost people, and even the mafia.

It's a great series, watch it if you get the chance.

Well, that's about it for now. I'll post more soon.
