The first port of call I made in Europe was in Hungary. On a map of Europe, Hungary is located here:

I flew into Budapest Airport, and my relatives there collected me and we drove to Györ, a city almost exactly in-between Budapest and Vienna. I spent my entire time, staying with my great-Aunt and great-Uncle, based in this city, and saw much of Hungary by taking small trips by car from it.
