I believe Matt is one of the most outstanding and let me say, beautiful, actors out there. I have every movie he's been in. And have loved him from the start. Recently, I actually had the chance to meet him, but was so overwhelmed, I froze. I actually sat 4 seats behind him at a L.A. Laker/Chicago Bulls game and was completely in awe... I will start off by saying that I will not lie, I am extremely physically attracted to Matt Dillon for as long as I can remember. I am 24 years old now and I have known of Matt since about the age of 7. Everyone and anyone who knows me will vouch for me on that. But apart from all that I truly admire Matt as an actor. I have seen most of his movies and the ones that I haven't seen I try to make an effort to see. I am not an obsessed fan but an appreciative fan who thanks him for all of his talents tha he has brought to his films. I just would like to say as a person who also lives in the town with "The Dillons" I think that you should know that Matt was NOT 14 when he was discovered. He was 13. The Hommocks is a middle school (7th and 8th grades) and while I was playing basketb ll with him and Kevin, he mentioned that he had never been left back in the early years of school. I think that your website is great and very accurate otherwise. Matt Dillon has always been my favorite actor and I was sooo excited when I met him. His family and himself are sooo nice.

I remember when my uncle first got "The Outsiders" on tape. It had to be 1984 or so. I started watching it and thought it was the most stupid movie I had ever seen! (I only watched about the first 5 minutes of it and turned it off!) Probably about a year ater, I watched it again (the whole thing this time!) and fell in love with every one of the cast members! It had definately become my favorite movie of all time!! To this day, 15 years later, it still is! That was my first 'real' Matt Dillon experience. hat was the day he became my favorite actor! If any of you haven't seen the Outsiders yet, I suggest renting it. It's such a great movie. And if you think you like Matt now, wait until you see that movie! I guarantee you'll all love it!

I,ve been a fan for years but i think the actor needs to be taking more seriously as a modern day thespian and not type cast into so many satires and cynically slowed b-movies. I also think he should be cast as "Batman".

Welcome to the web site! Nothing new to report. It seems Matt's been out of the scene since 1998's "There's Something About Mary." The only credit I could come up with for 1999 was his directing an episode of "Oz". His much-awaited "One Night At McCool's" will now air directly on the USA network, bypassing theaters. Well, I hope we see more of him soon, either on the small screen or the big!
