QUESTIONS

There used to be a"Send Hate Mail" option on the front page so fans could ask questions. Some were answered here. And a few that are still worth reading, remain. CyKottick at Hotmail.com still receives the e-mail for this site. Which is not necessarily an invitation to annoy him.

THEODORE IS UNIQUE, BUT CAN YOU TELL US IF THEODORE HAS A FAVORITE COMEDIAN WHO IS SIMILARLY DARK?

Theodore always admired the intellectual and erratic Alexander King. King was popular on Jack Paar's version of "The Tonight Show."

IS IT POSSIBLE TO FIND THEODORE MOVIES AT THE LOCAL BLOCKBUSTER?

If you can get past the 100 copies of the latest Adam Sandler or teen gross-out movie, or the solid wall devoted to Julia Roberts' wide smile, you may possibly find one copy of "The Invisible Kid" "The Hobbit" or "The Burbs."

DOES THEODORE READ SCIENCE FICTION?

These days Theodore does not read many novels. "I am not interested in what happens to fictional characters," he says. "I'm more concerned with what happens to me." One science fiction writer he has long admired is his friend Richard Matheson. Some of Richard's work has actually given Theodore nightmares of angst.

WHAT'S THE LATEST BOOK THEODORE HAS READ?

"Fight for Tonight," a paperback history of talk shows. "The author had such insight into why Jack Paar or Steve Allen behaved as he did, it was fascinating. For hours I could read the book and forget my misery."

I'D LIKE TO SIT AT HOME AND PONDER LIFE WHILE DRINKING. WHAT IS THEODORE'S FAVORITE ALCOHOLIC BEVERAGE?

Bailey's Irish Cream. He once said he wouldn't mind dying via a Bailey's Irish Cream overdose. His doctors placed this item on his "no" list, along with rich Bavarian desserts. If you partake of this liquor, drink a toast to him when you do.

WHAT WOULD BE A FAVORITE THEODORE MEAL?

Zen take-out. Chinese food has always been a first choice, but now it's more macrobiotic. You can be idiotic and stuff yourself with cow corpses and tortured bits of dead chicken...but will you live to past 90 like Theodore???

DID THEODORE TAPE HIS SHOW? IS IT AVAILABLE?

Yes. And NO.
At this point highly placed pessimism regards the plan for a major cable network to buy the rights to the show.
