GWTW Fanfiction!!!!
I am really excited about this part of my page, not only because I enjoy reading and writing, but also because I often find myself thinking "what-if's" about GWTW. I'm sure that most of you have done the same, and that's why I think there should be a page for GWTW fanfiction. For those of you who don't know what fanfiction is, a wonderful example of a fanfiction page is Lois and Clark Fanfiction. (Even if you've never seen this show, I strongly reccomend that you check out this page, it's a wonderful example of how fanfiction should be done; however, my page will not be that fancy!)
You may be thinking, "So, what am I supposed to write about? A sequel to GWTW or what?" Well, you could do that, you could rewrite a part of GWTW or SCARLETT, you could pretend you're one of the characters and write something in first person, you could write a play on GWTW...the possibilities are endless! However, there are some guidelines you need to be aware of:
FANFICTION GUIDELINES
1. As of now, I don't care about the length of your story. However, if I start getting stories that are too long to post, I might have to set a maximum length.
2. The stories MUST be appropriate for audiences of all ages!
3. You may put an "author's note" at the beginning of your story, telling a little bit about when the story takes place, what inspired you to write it, etc.
4. Please edit your story before you send it in. The most I'll do is correct a few typos and spelling errors before I post it. If there are lots and lots of these type mistakes, I may send it back to you so that you can reread it and maybe spell check it.
5. Be sure to include the title of your story. I would also really appreciate it if you would send in a one sentence summary of your story along with it so that others will know what they're about to read. This is not required, but if you don't do it I'll have to and it may take longer to get your story posted.
6. You may submit as many stories as you like; the more the merrier!
7. There is NO DEADLINE! This is an ongoing thing, and if all goes well it will last as long as my page does.
8. This is not a contest of any sort; it is just something for everyone to enjoy. So have fun reading and writing the stories!
