Hello everyone. My name is Miriam Taylor. I am 14 years old and I am English and Canadian. I lived in Birmingham, England with my dad, mum and brother Aaron until I was 9. Then I moved to Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and lived there for 3 years. In 1996 we came to Fredericton, New Brunswick, I am in Grade 8, French Immersion at Junior High. My favourite subjects are French and Language Arts. I have lots of interests. I love music and dancing. My favourite groups are The Spice Girls and The Back Street Boys but I also like several other groups. I have been very interested in reading since a grade 2 teacher showed me how books could be interesting.
My favourite author at the moment is Lurlene McDaniel. I used to enjoy reading the Babysitter Club books and still like a lot of Ann Martin's work. I spend quite a lot of time reading magazines now. Favourites are YM and Teen People. I write in a journal quite often. Sometimes I write stories.

I watch quite a lot of TV, particularly Entertainment Tonight, Boy Meets World, Sabrina the Teenage Witch and Home Improvements. Generally I have my cat prairie with me when I am watching TV and sometimes the dog Alf. I enjoy being with them. I like going to the movies when I can. I loved Titanic and have the video. I also enjoy looking up music web sites on the computer. I hope to go to England in the summer of 99.
