The time: It is the not too distant future, the world as we know it is changing right before our eyes, evolving. Humans are evolving, into something more powerful. These humans, born with a special “X-Factor” in there genotype develop strange and diverse and unexplained powers. The homo-sapien born children with the X-Factor first start to notice their mutations at the start of puberty. These mutants have to live in a world that treats them as if they were outcasts, for simply being different. Man has always feared what he doesn’t understand. Recently, the mutant population has been expanding, and the closer regular humans are to the brink of extinction, the harder they will fight in order to save their kind, our world is in a state of turmoil. The Evil Mutants: In a world that treats you like an animal, sometimes your only hope is to fight back. When a man is pushed to a certain point he can lose his sanity. There are many homo-superiors who are wiling to take action to defend their rights, they want to use their powers to fight back against the human race, and they will do so at all cost. Eric Lensherr otherwise known as Magneto is a man who knows the power he holds over regular humans, and he is willing to use it to crush the humans who have discriminated him all his life. Growing up in a concentration camp, all Eric knows is discrimination. In his eyes the only way for a mutant to be accepted is for them to be the sole inhabitants of the planet. Magneto and so many other mutants that share his vision will without hesitation wipe out the human race in order to live in a world in which they are accepted. Our Only Hope: Charles Francis Xavier, the most powerful telepathic mutant on the planet has always had a dream. In this dream mutants and humans peacefully co-exist. As a first step to turn this dream into a reality Xavier developed a school for mutants. At the Xavier School for Gifted Youngsters, mutants would learn how to control and manage their powers, so that they would not be afraid and ultimately, learn to live in a world with regular humans. Unfortunately, world peace does not come easy. Xavier’s students were trained in the art of combat and teamwork for the sole purpose of defending the world from those ill-intentioned mutants such as Magneto. This team of reluctant heroes, who defend a world that hates and fears them are the Uncanny X-Men!
