History: Neil Sharra, a handsome Indian man who is the son of a wealthy police chief in Assam a city just off the coast of the port city Calcutta, was born a mutant with the ability to generate fire. Neil had a brother named Sanjit and one day, he discovered that Sanjit was missing. Neil ventured to the city in search of him when he was attacked by street thugs. Lucky for him, his father had sent along an investigator from the police force named Karima Shapander to keep close watch on him. Karima arrived just in time to save him and the two continued their search while a romance begin to blossom. Later, the two were attacked by Bastion and two Prime Sentinels. To his horror, Neil discovers that Sanjit is now a prime sentinel, and Bastion had intended to submit Neil and Karima to the same process. Bastion was successful with Karima but Neil’s mutant powers kicked in, allowing him to escape. Sanjit and Karima begin to fight the Prime Sentinel controllings and overpowers the program. Karima destroys the other prime sentinels and Sanjit is attacked. He then dies in Neil’s arms. Karima then informs Neil that she can no longer fight the control of the Prime Sentinel Program and that if he doesn’t leave India soon she will kill him. Neil fled to Scotland to see a family friend Moira Mactaggert, and he is introduced to Jean Grey Summers otherwise known as Phoenix and Nathan Summers otherwise know as Cable. Neil decides to join the X-Men, and adopts the name of a former member Thunderbird. Later on, Thunderbird left the core team at Xavier’s to join Storm’s rouge team in search of Destiny’s Diary’s.
