"I can't see a thing..." Micky mumbled as he putted down the road in the
Monkeemobile which was running out of gas. A strike of lightning broke
through the fog, startling Mike who had been dozing in the back seat. Davy
laughed at him.
Mike snickered at Davy and moved up into the empty passenger seat.
"Lets stop.", Mike said. "I gotta go." "Go where?" Micky asked coldly and not
taking his eyes off the road.
"No, I mean 'go'." He knodded his head, to give Micky a hint. Micky giggled
along with Davy.
"Sorry babe, if I stop the car, it won't restart." Mike groaned and wiped
the sleep out of his eyes.
But as the words left Micky's mouth the car slowed to stop. "No!" He
cried hitting the wheel. Mike grinned and hopped out of the car.
"Mike, Wait! You'll-get-lost." He said stuttering with the words, realizing
Mike 'had to go' bad.
"Guys, I'm scared." Peter whispered from next to Davy.
"Wha?" Davy asked, dropping the blue and white beads from his mouth.
"Well, Mike shouldn't be out 'doing his business' on a night like this, he
likly to get lost."
"He probably feels betta' though." Davy said, laughing.
****** 1 hour later...
"Man, where is he!" Micky cried.
"Ey, I'm goin' to that 'ouse up there on that hill, And calling someone."
Davy muttered sleeply.
"Ok, I don't know what else we'd do, Mike's missing and we don't have a
car."
The three guys pulled themselves out of the car which had become damp, and
chilly on the inside, And walked up to the door. "Let's hope there's someone
here." Peter said.
A creek in the door mad the guys jump. "Hello?" A sweet voice almost
whispered from the darkness.
"Hi, were the Monkees- Ah, won't you come in." She interupted. Then
without hesitation they ran inside the house.
A dim light flickered on. They squinted in the sudden darkness. A
beautiful young blond about Davy's hight stood with a cup of tea in her
hand. "Hello, I am Glory, Karen Glory." She said motioning for them to come
into the kitchen. "I assume he belongs to you?" She said pointing to Mike,
who was sitting at the table.
"Mike!" They cried.
"Hey fella's!" Mike cried.
"We thought we lost ya!" Micky cried brushing curls out of his face.
"Well thanks for keepin' a look out for Mike, but we better get going."
Peter said and they headed for the door.
"Wait!" Karen's voice was harsh and the moment Micky turned to face her, he
could have sworn he saw her beautiful blue eyes turn a cold gray. But her
soft dreamy stare returned. "You cannot leave with this weather, you shall
stay here tonight, theres plenty of room, and it gets so lonly out here,
all alone by myself all the time, And I can keep you entertained, I
promise!"
"Well Ok, but no funny business, that clear?" Mike asked. "Oh yes!" She
exclaimed. "Excuse me."
She left the room. "Ok girls ready for a fun night?" Karen asked some of
her slave-like friends.
They knodded. She cackled. "Good, Get ready."
