A Long Time Ago... right here in our lovely Nation's Capital... (page down)
Well, okay, maybe it wasn't THAT long ago. There was a group of people who got together to make movies and videos (not films, they weren't artistic enough to merit the title) about monsters, rock stars, the Undead, Goons with guns, Detectives, and extra-dimensional demons that have a fascination with corn. One of them was Brian Armstrong. Brian had been making movies since he was a teenager with a Super-8 movie camera in his home town of Flemington, NJ. Perhaps someday those movies will see the light of day again (shudder). Okay, maybe not. The other was Walt O'Hara, a Virginian. Walt had no experience with making movies, but he had watched some on TV. Walt helped Brian with some fraternity films back in college and since they were both living in the same town after graduation (Washington, DC), a collaboration seemed like a natural thing. At first they were O'Hara/Armstrong Productions, then Totally Shameless Productions (are you getting an idea about the direction these movies were going yet?).
Now there's some shady looking mugs...
TSP's output won't win any awards; it was crude by anybody's standards. However, it does represent a pretty fun time period for a lot of people who were involved back then, and they should be reminded what it was like. In that sense, this page is dedicated to all those people who had the patience to put up with all the crap they put up with over the years to make movies.
Without further ado, here are the Movie Memoir Pages.
