The Enterprise Tardis Connection (ETC) was formed by Star Trek, Dr. Who and Science Fiction fans in San Angelo, TX. We have been active since 1989 when a group of college students decided there was a void in the desert oasis of San Angelo that needed to be filled.

Throughout the last 10 years, we have participated in various community events such as the Fiesta Del Concho Parade (where we showed off our life-sized Shuttlecraft Sulu) and the Healthy Families Children's Fair. We're also known to "Trek or Treat" for can goods for the food bank at Halloween. In addition, we have put together several memorabilia displays for the public library, the local planetarium, and movie theaters.

We have organized two local conventions. The first, Trek or Treat, was held in 1995. MicroCon1: A Trekin' Tenth, was held in 1999 to celebrate the club's 10th anniversary.

To learn more about the ETC the early years and to learn how we got our name see the Timeline.

In the 1990s, ETC produced a fanzine called the Dune Sea Express. Members wrote fiction, reviewed books and Star Trek episodes, and other tidbits.
