The Music of Disney and Disneyland
There are many different things that make up Disneyland and everything else the Disney company has done. One of the biggest is undoubtably is the music. I am a major music fan, so I especially love this aspect of Disneyland and the Disney movies. It's hard to imagine the Disneyland we know without any music. There would be no "Yo, ho, Yo, ho, a pirate's life for me." or "It's a small world, after all." There wouldn't be any parades or shows. It's equally as hard to imagine the Disney movies without music. No "When you wish upon a star" or "Heigh-Ho." Yep, music is a main part of Disney and Disney's history.
I think there are a few big names in Disney's music history. Bruce Healey has done practically every music production in Disneyland since 1986. In films, a great musical development occurred in Disney history when Alan Menken and Howard Ashman began writing for the movies. Disney's music history has grown along with the history of Disney itself. They are inseparatable.
