I saw Gloria for the 1st time when I was eight...what can I say...I felt alive! I was a kid in trouble, without family, I was disconnected to everyone and everything around me, including myself. Somehow, Gena's performances gave me a sense of hope to not
give up. Her presence and genuine beauty on the screen was a tremendous source of strength for me as child and I wrote to her when I was little, asking her if we could meet! How silly I was, but how real she was, and still is, to me and to all of her fan

Hello, I saw Minnie and Moskowicz(sp?) last night and I cried when Seymore cut off his mustache. It was touching to see him so vulnerable, yet ultimatley, I can't see Minnie's marriage to him as anything but exhausting. The ending (of the film)compromise
the complexities the film spends so much energy in exhibiting. But I suppose they all can't be perfect.

Ms Rowlands is THE definition of class. Any movie she is in as star or cameo becomes special while she is on screen. I see no point in a remake of GLORIA. Why wasn't the original simply re-released? Because her "acting" is so natural she seems like a
