Scott Thornton is my number one favourite player. Not only does he fight, have tons of spirit, and play hard every game, but he also scores once in a while…a true Canadian hockey player!

Right now he's off playing in Europe with the Canadian National Team. Go Canada Go! So far Scott has scored four goals in three games, including his first career HAT TRICK in the game against Switzerland! He centres the line with Scott Walker and Martin Lapointe. Other Habs on the team? Quintal and Savage…and these two have factored in the scoring as well, especially Quintal!

Other Habs playing in the tourney include Koivu who has over 10 points in 7 games and Martin Rucinsky.

"Thornton is an organized man who keeps pretty much to himself before a game. He's also a great story-teller with a talent for making people laugh at the right moment. That makes him one of the guys people count on to keep the atmosphere in the dressing room relaxed." ~Les Canadiens (Album 1998-1999)
