I grew up watching Owen and Bret after Hogan left the WWF and Owen was part of me and I always loved his work, I appreciated him from 95 as a great Atlethic, when I became a guy who understand wrestling, and now I appreciate him more than ever, in 96,97,Hart Foundation, the emotional reunion was a hell of a time for me, with me watching WCW and WWF, I liked the Foundation and nWo the most! Bret,Owen, Hogan,Savage these guys I grew up watching. Now I appreciate Owen more than ever after early this year watching his japanese matches and can get understand what wrestling is all about more than ever with me now being a huge All/New-Japan fan.
Even before his death, I always read stories how Owen would do ribs on everybody, make everybody laugh and in good mood, or bad mood, but still having fun and him always wanting to go home as soon as possible, always made me think that there`s nothing wrong with that guy, and I wasn`t wrong Owen was a role model, and still is!
I`ve got many files about his career, including Dave Meltzer`s tribute, and other major tributes, I don`t think it`s fit, because he didn`t finish his career, it should`ve happen, and he had a great future for him, and I miss seeing him on my screen.
God Bless ya Owen, i know you appreciate my thoughts and I just hope you`ll give more strength to Martha, Oje and Athena to go on with out you, I know they`ll have the best role model to grow up to.
