Saturday, february 3rd. 9pm, eastern&pacific
time. The episode will air, entitled:
       "Division Street"
To stop gang violence, Walker and his long-time
friend, Boomer Night (guest star Hulk Hogan),
create a midnight basketball league for the two
       rival gangs.

REPORT:
Last Saturday Terry Bollea (aka Hulk Hogan) guest starred on an episode of
Walker , Texas Ranger.  Let me start off by saying Terry did an excellent job
in the episode. He was very professional and looked comfortable playing his
role. He also had ample tv time and was billed during the credits as; Guest
Star-Terry "Hulk" Hogan. The name of the episode is "Divison Street," and
Terry plays the role of Boomer Knight.

Now to the episode. Terry plays an ex-convict(and born again christian) who is
starting up a basketball program for inner-city children. The first glimpse we
have of him is within the first 3 minutes of the program. They show him
walking into a gymnasium with lots of kids playing basketball with an old
stereo. He tells some of the rangers that maybe with the right music he can
lure some of the other gang members into his gym. A young gang member(maybe
about 8) who was spray painting his mark on the rival gangs turf gets caught
and runs to the gym. The kid happens to be the younger brother of the leader
of one of the gangs. Terry convinces him to stay and play basketball but when
he leaves the gang is waiting for him and Terry has to break up a fight with
the help of the Texas Rangers(no, not the baseball team).

During the remainder of the episode you find out that a head drug dealer is
manipulating both gangs. They eventually get wise to him and start playing in
the basketball league.  This prompts the drug lord to kidnap Terry and plan to
make an example of him(read execute him), but the gangs work together free him
and the drug lord gets busted.

That is pretty much what happened in a nutshell. I was proud to watch Terry
because he did a great job acting. It was not his usual tough guy role. There
was no violence that his character took part in the whole episode. That was
the most impressive role I've seen Terry in in years. In my estimation, he
also had the most on air time of all the characters. I hope he landed the role
in Tomb Raider because I would like to see Terry involved in a big budget
project again that will be a great success. I think he's a better actor now
and deserves it.
Huge thanks to my buddy Gerry Keefer for sending in the
report.

Opinions:
I just finished watching the latest episode of Walker.
And your involvement with the street gangs.
I'm a Canadian, new to New Jersey, and it's been a kind
of culture shock to me to see these people in real life.
I know that a lot of the famous sports people who have made a lot
of money in the business, are doing things just like this.
If you are really working with street gangs, or organizing community centres like
you did on this show, and even though you're not in
Jersey, I would like to add you to my community donation list.
I don't give money to anyone that calls or knocks on my door.
I like to select my own donors.
I don't have a lot of money, but what little I do have, I like to go to a good cause.
Since moving to the US I have helped sponsor our local Rescue Units,
Fraternal Order of Police and Firefighters.
I still have room for more.
Great work on the show.
I envy you.
I'd really like to meet Chuck Norris myself.
Best regards, and keep up the good work.

On February 3/01
I watched the most incredible show on TV I have ever seen!!
The episode of Walker Texas Ranger called "Division
Street" with Terry Hulk Hogan. I have never been so impressed with a TV show before.
I have been a huge Walker
and Hogan fan for years, but this show blew me away! If you are reading this...
Terry, thank you from the bottom of
my heart! I am both a Christian and a "street youth" worker, and the way you
portrayed the role of "Boomer" was
great! God only knows how many kids (and adults) lives were impacted through
that one National TV show! Please
keep up the good work!!! May God richly bless you!
