Dante Barbetta

Dante's name probably provided the inspiration for the cartoon Dante Dreamer, made by Al's unit at Famous. Dante was the head assistant in Al's unit at the time this picture was taken.

In addition to working at Famous, Barbetta also worked at the New York Institutue of Technology on their animated feature Tubby the Tuba. He animated some Sesame Street segments designed by Harvey Kurtzman for Phil Kimmelman and Associates. He's also worked for Michael Sporn Animation on half hour TV specials such as Ira Sleeps Over.
