Manny Gould

Manny Gould teamed up with Ben Harrison in the 1920's, and they made a series of silent Krazy Kat cartoons. They moved to Hollywood in 1928, where they continued the Krazy Kat series, produced by Charles Mintz and released through Columbia. In addition, they did cartoons in the Columbia Color Rhapsody series.

In the '40's, Gould worked at Warner Brothers for Bob Clampett and for Bob McKimson (A Lad in His Lamp and Windblown Hare). During this period, Gould's animation is almost as broad as Rod Scribner's. It is distinguishable because Gould often had both hands performing symmetrical actions.
